Why do female celebrities who come in defense of their weight gains turn right around and…?

…turn right around and celebrate their weight loss as soon as possible.

3 that come to mind are Tyra Banks, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. All three have been on the tabloids saying that their extra weight or cellulite is just fine with them. Then a month or two later once they’ve had a chance to get in shape, they come back to the tabloids and say “oh look and my hot new body.” What’s up with that?

It’s because the tabloid magazines and TV shows scrutinize every obscure detail about their lives. At some point you need to comment on what they’re saying because the less you communicate with the tabloids, the more likely they’re going to misrepresent you. I really can’t understand the people who crave so much drama that they pick up one of those magazines, blech.

This world is hard on women. Especially when it comes to their appearances.

Women in the public eye, such as those you have named, have it even harder. Their *dinero* is on the line because others expect them to look a certain way.

Also, what you don’t see behind the scenes is that very often these women are quite emotionally hurt by the attention, as Jessica Simpson was, and after they say it’s “okay” people become even MORE vicious, spurring them on to lose weight.

Uh…whatever boosts their ratings and gets them in the lime-light, is good for them I guess.

I don’t know. But I don’t think any of them were ‘fat’ in the true sense of the word to start with……

They want people to think that they have a great body image and tyra might be trying to send a message that she is fine with the way shelooks the others might just want to prove the tabloids wrong when really they hate the way they look and are to afraid to admit it.
